my favourite lush face masks

 i suffer with mild acne and generally not great skin.
i have tried many methods including three kinds of acne pills, various
topical treatments and more. but after not avail i decided to swap the
chemicals for all natural products. i figured why not?

i have bought quite a few lush products now, of which i love and have
whittled down to my favourites, but of course to of found what has worked
for me, i've had to try many a product.

i consider myself quite the expert now, after having tried most lush face masks
at least twice and so, if you're unsure as to which is right for you,
i may be able to help you! i've picked out my five favourites.

name: mask of magnanimity
smell: peppermint / mint chocolate ice cream
skin type: any, break out prone
main ingredients: peppermint oil, honey, kaolin.
price: £5.50
rate out of 10: 9
main purpose: helps fight eruptions and breakouts. calms, cleans and clears the skin. light exfoliation.
my opinion: my favourite mask for a all over job. i use this on not only my face but body too. doesn't irritate my skin and has a lovely smell to it. helps reduce skin and calm pigmentation.

name: oatifix
smell: vanilla, banana, honey
skin type: dry and sensitive skin
main ingredients: oatmeal, almonds, vanilla
price: £6.50
rate out of 10:  8
main purpose: to nourish and moisturise dry skin, whilst calming any irritations. cleanses too!
my opinion: i love this in the winter when my face gets dry. despite having combination skin, i adore this product to rejuvenate my skin. it smells delicious and leaves skin feeling silky soft.


name: catastrophe cosmetic
smell: blueberries 
skin type: any, aimed at angry skin
main ingredients: rose oil, blueberries, almond
price: £6.50
rate out of 10: 7
main purpose: to calm and moisturise the skin, antioxidants to prevent skin damage, cleanse.
my opinion: i love the smell of this mask so much! so fresh and fruity. this mask is brilliant for when your skin suddenly breaks out as the antioxidants help restore skin whilst calming.

name: love lettuce
smell: fresh, nature, lavender
skin type: oily skin
main ingredients: honey, lavender, almond
price: £6.50
rate out of 10: 6
main purpose: to cleanse oily skin, exfoliate skin to give a radiant glow and tighten skin.
my opinion: this mask is great for oily break outs and exfoliation. i love how it soothes my skin and removes excess oil without drying out skin whilst still retaining the natural balance of sebum.
